Please join us as actor/writer/ director/producer Rob Tepper entertains and educates us with a staged reading of his upcoming one-man play “The Jewish Question: A Herzlian Frenzy”.  The program begins at 4pm followed by a discussion and wine & cheese reception.

“The Jewish Question” is the result of Tepper’s love for his Jewish heritage, his support for the Jewish homeland, and his desire to share the story of one of Israel’s most complex and complicated champions, Theodor Herzl.

The play takes place in Paris during the ten days when Herzl locked himself in his hotel room and was inspired to write Der Judenstaadt, the Jewish State, which ultimately led to the creation of the State of Israel.

Tepper was awarded a grant to write “The Jewish Question” from the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) for their Innovative Lab.  This poignant show illustrates his passion for the Jewish people and his historical knowledge, explores the theme of inspiration, and aims to help combat antisemitism.
