Spiritual. Egalitarian. Welcoming.
It is an ancient tradition for firstborn Jewish males to fast on the day before Passover. This commemorates the miracle which spared the firstborn Jewish sons from the plague which struck the firstborn sons of the Egyptians.
Join us for a short morning Minyan and a little text study. Afterwards, we will enjoy a light meal to break the fast – a siyum celebration – which according to custom, creates an atmosphere of rejoicing that overrides the requirement to continue the fast.
We will also burning our Chametz after breakfast.
We hope you can join us!
