Selichot at Temple Emanu-El of Palm Beach with Rabbi Resnick.  Join us for the celebration.

6:00pm – Free Pasta Dinner

7:00pm – Movie & Discussion of “Earthrise”

8:00pm – Selichot Service: The Essence of Selichot

Selichot is a night of soul-searching in preparation for the High Holy Days. It’s a time when we reflect on the state of our world, the state of our lives and the relationship between the two.

As part of that process, we will screen and discuss the beautiful short film “Earthrise”.  It tells the story of the often-overlooked Apollo 8 mission, marking the first-time human beings ventured beyond earth’s orbit. It generates a lot of questions about God, existence, ethics, the relevance of religion…and leaves the answers up to us.

Please join us for this important beginning of the High Holy Days! RSVP’s for dinner can be made by calling the Temple office at 561-832-0804.

NOTE: Services are Streamed Live for those that wish to join us from home.  Click here to watch.
