Hanukkah in Jazz Time

BOCA RATON, Fla, and NEW YORK CITY, NY (December 14, 2020) – Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra led by Aaron Kula will LIVE STREAM a tour-de-force presentation on Monday, December 14, 2020 – 7:30 PM EST. This concert is a celebration of Hanukkah melodies influenced by American Jazz, Swing, Blues, and Spirituals all mixed with old-world Klezmer. Performing with KCJO in this live stream concert will be south Florida jazz vocalists Lisanne Lyons and JaNia Harden. Featured Jewish composers will be Irving Berlin and Jule Styne who composed favorite holiday songs for the winter season.

Clal’s Rabbi Irwin Kula, will host the concert and will offer wisdom on the meaning of Hanukkah and its connection to challenges we face in America during these turbulent times. The one-hour live stream performance will celebrate American diversity, faith, and courage through songs that all Americans can enjoy. “This is a holiday concert for anyone who just loves to celebrate the season with music that swings,” said Aaron Kula.
