Vadim Blumin is an historian and activist in the fields of Jewish education and civil society in Israel. He is the Content and Training Specialist of Makom: The Strategic Content Lab of The Jewish Agency for Israel. Formerly, Vadim ran JAFI’s Education Department in St. Petersburg, Russia and served as Executive Director of 1+1: Association of Immigrant Youth. He is an alumnus of the GVANIM Program for Pluralism and Leadership, as well as the JDC-ELKA Mashamaut training program for Directors-General of Voluntary Organizations. Vadim is a founder of Generation 1.5 – Russian Speaking Young Adults, a Board member of Be Free Israel (Israel Hofshit), and a member of the Limmud-FSU Content Committee. Vadim lives in Ramat Gan with his partner, Roman, and their daughter, Danielle.
