Women’s League of Temple Emanu-El presents A BINTEL BRIEF (a bundle of letter) from Jewish Immigrants to American Citizens

This advice column of letters from new Jewish o=immigrants was begun in 1906 and ran for over 60 years.  It was published in a Yiddush newspaper, THE JEWISH DAILY FORWARD
in New York City.  The Editor would print the letters and his answers.

You will hear the letters, the editor will tell you his response and the audience members will share their opinions.
