Women’s League Temple Emanu-El of Palm Beach joins with Our Israeli Sisters for the

Screening of award winning documentary Passage to Sweden via Zoom

January 17th commemorates the day that Raoul Wallenberg, a great Swedish diplomat, humanitarian and savior of Jews during the Holocaust, disappeared. To honor his memory, Women’s League of Temple Emanu-El of Palm Beach will join with our Israeli Sisters at Masorti Congregation Beit Israel in Netanya for a film screening and discussion on Monday, January 17 at noon.

“Passage to Sweden” documents the experiences of survivors from the Scandinavian countries which fell under the Nazi yoke and how they managed to escape.

This film is presented with the patronage and support of the Swedish Embassy, with an introduction by His Excellency Ambassador Erik Ullenhag and Beit Israel’s Rabbi Ervin Birnbaum.

Director/ Producer Suzannah Warlick will lead a Q&A following the screening.

Due to technical issues with the Jeopardy game, Women’s League is excited to offer this exclusive program in its stead.
