How to Forgive Others and to Forgive Yourself

The Talmud and all of the great Rabbis, Maimonides, Joseph Caro, Moshe Feinstein, Solomon Freehof, give detailed explanations as to how we seek forgiveness from others.  They discuss the mindset we should have, the behaviors we need to take, and even how best to word our apology.  To the best of my knowledge, none of these rabbis discuss whether we should or must forgive others, or what we need to do in order to forgive another person. So too with self forgiveness.  How do we forgive ourselves?  I hope this class will prepare us to forgive ourself and others.
