Kabbalah is the most prominent form of Jewish mysticism. Its teachings and practice took hold in Spain during the 13th century with the appearance of a written work called the Zohar. Its focus is a description of the Devine world as it affects our world and our own existence. In contemporary times, Kabbalah has become popularized. Why this sudden interest? How real is it?
