More than 10 Years of Access to the International Tracing Service Archive: Implications for Holocaust Studies and Family Research.

This International Tracing Service helps fill in the many blanks left after the war. It not only helps families learn the fate of their loved ones, it also has on many amazing occasions, re-united them with people long believed lost.

Dr. Elizabeth Anthony is the International Tracing Service (ITS) and Partnerships Program Manager at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies. In her role at the Mandel Center, Dr. Anthony is responsible for the promotion of the scholarly use of the ITS Digital Archive, ITS-related academic programming and outreach, and partner programs with other institutions. She received her Ph.D. in history at Clark University in 2016. Dr. Anthony also holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Arts in economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
