Dr. Roger Ward is widely acknowledged as an expert in the field of Nazi-era provenance research and the world’s leading authority on the drawings of Baccio Bandinelli. From July 2011 through March 2013, he was a consultant to the Department of Homeland Security on the restitution of artworks looted during the Nazi era in Europe. Dr. Ward was the President and CEO of the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens and has served as curator and director of a variety of art museums domestically and abroad. He sits on the board of the American Friends of the Courtauld Institute of Art and is a member of numerous professional, academic, and civic organizations in the United States, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
