Laura Blumenfeld, a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic Studies at the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies and an NYT best-selling author, has seen the Middle East from all angles. For over two decades, she covered conflict for The Washington Post, New York Times and New Yorker. She was living in a Palestinian village when the intifada broke out, working in Amman when the Gulf War broke out, and most recently served as Senior Policy Advisor on the U.S. Secretary of State’s Israeli-Palestinian negotiating team.
What has Blumenfeld learned — and what lessons can she now share with the American Jewish community — about the best way forward for Israel and for all? Join us to find out!
In addition to our speaker, our Shabbat Morning Services are a great opportunity to reconnect with your tradition, with new and old friends, and with yourself. Join us for our beautiful, spiritual Services. (Check out some of the music we sing on Shabbat Morning by clicking here.)
A delicious Kiddush Lunch is served after Services for Temple Members and guests alike.
