In the year prior to the B’nai Mitzvah, students and their families regularly meet with the Rabbi and the Hazzan to discuss the meaning of the day and to study one-on-one to learn the required skills.
Need to schedule a date for your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah? We would love to help you make it a wonderful, personal and transformational experience! Please call the Temple Office at 561-832-0804 to check availability.
A Bar and Bat Mitzvah is a special time in the life of every family. To help you make the most of it, we would like to invite you to join us for a series of evening workshops called Project Mishpachah.
The word Mishpachah means ‘family’ in Hebrew. Project Mishpachah aims to involve parents and siblings – along with the Bar/Bat Mitzvah child – in a meaningful Jewish learning experience.
In Project Mishpachah we will discuss a wide variety of issues related to having a Bar/Bat Mitzvah in particular and about Jewish living in general – creating a meaningful Mitzvah Project, adding sanctity to the party, learning about ritual items such as Tallit and Tefillin, how to come up for an Aliyah and much more!
